Does it happen on every website you visit? Just your start page? Does the website you're visiting have Flash content on there? I'd make sure that you've run all of the available updates for your system

I find mine sometimes crashes for flash movies, but it seems to be a loading or buffering error. It will start, but if I attempt to skip, it freezes and closes.
Same happens on the HDD with quicktime and certain AVI files. It will play, but If I attempt to jump to a point, it will stop responding. AVI files done through handbrake seem to be quicktime friendly, though.

Could be, of all things, your QuickTime installation. Fixing this is easy - just download and install the latest QuickTime update.
