Safari's stored sites

When I type "www.", all those sites appear (by factory default), which although is a very minute thing, would like gone. Is there any way to delete those sites or stop them from coming down?

I haven't tried it myself, but can't you delete them from bookmarks and clear the cache?

Deleting the bookmarks did it... thanks for the suggestion.

you can also reset safari using the menu bar at the top but that will wipe out everything.
