What would a safe (acceptable) temperature for a HD to be running at. I recently got an app that tells me. If this helps im running a Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM IDE in a G4 GE.

I would say somewhere in the 35-55C range. What temp are you showing? Usually HD temps are not a concern. Your CPU/GPU temps are usually the hottest, as those are the two primary furnaces in your Mac.
