iPod touch Safe Mode question

I have a question: I was just using my iPod, and suddenly everything went black, and when it revived, it said on the top, instead of the time, it said in Safe Mode.

Also, the Infinifolders Cydia app didn't work, and all the apps were out of their folders.
(Mine is a Jailbreaked iPod Touch 4G running iOS 4.3.3)

is there something behind this??
Can you tell me more about this?
Is there a way to turn this off this or stop using this 'in Safe Mode'?

I'll try to get a screen shot for my iPod.
