Is there a tweak that makes it easy to put your phone in safe mode? You used to be able to download addons for SBSettings that could allow you to restart your phone in safemode and I think NCsettings had this feature.

Is there an easy way to just reboot your phone in safe mode without having to power down and then turn it on and hold the volume button?

For some reason with my jailbroken phone it's hard to get my phone to forget my bluetooth devices and sometimes I need to reconnect my Pebble Watch.

I use FlipControlCenter. In its settings, add the Respring switch. After adding it, tap it and it'll bring you to a screen with additional options. I have "TAP" set to respring but I have "HOLD" set to Safe Mode. For what it's worth, I also have Request Confirmation turned on so I don't accidentally respring when I'm using Control Center for something else.

FlipControlCenter makes this super easy. You could also use Activator to easily load safe mode. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

You can do this with Activator.

I have a custom menu set up for a long press of the power button. Options that I have added include:

Power down.
Reboot.
Respring.

You can also add reboot into safe mode if you were so inclined.

Holding the volume button is not that hard for those rare situations that you will need to go into safemode.
Try not to keep installing questionable or old packages that havent been updated for years or are in an incompatible list.
Knock on wood I havent needed to use safe mode yet with ios 8.

The problem is for some reason I can't get the bluetooth to forget about my connection to my Pebble watch and the only way I can do it is to go into safe mode. Once unconnected I can reboot into regular mode and then connect to my Pebble watch.

Powertap works well. If somebody could send me a screen shot of what their activator menu looks like after a long hold on the power button I'd consider just using activator. I have never used activator to make a custom menu before

Interesting.
So you're doing this just for the bluetooth bug?
Sounds like its a problem with that particular bluetooth device.

I had the same problem on my iPhone 5S that was jailbroken was eVasion so maybe you are right.

I'm hoping the Apple iWatch doesn't have this problem, however I have a feeling you will need to be on iOS 7.2 to use iWatch and who knows that it will be jailbroken. Makes no sense to me why they jailbroke 7.1.1

I actually had this exact problem earlier, after I read and replied to this thread, as it were. I went to forget a Jabra extreme Bluetooth device and it would not do so. Remembering this thread, I rebooted into safe mode and wouldn't you know, that did the trick.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1, Pangu JB and all files/tweaks up to date.
