Theres nothing wrong with my new machine. I love it. The force click is really neat and the screen is wowza.I run it at 1680x1050 (or whatever the most content option is) and its not laggy by any means. I've noticed a few hick ups on animations when doing certain things, but I've only had it 24 hours so far and haven't had a chance to do any real work on it.

My question is, since its a brand new graphics card and machine, won't the drivers get better (more mature) every .1 upgrade? Thus making this machine even more responsive and quicker over time? (at least through yosemites update cycle)

Graphics driver aren't Apple's priority. They don't get updated all that often. I wouldn't hold my breath for them.
