Safe to buy 17" case and sleeve?

You folks think it's safe enough to buy a case and sleeve in preparation for my new 17" mbp that I hope to be receiving from Apple sometime in the next week (assuming it's released tomorrow)?

Yea its probably safe but what's the point? You might as well wait because there won't be a shortage or something. Why gamble if the line gets delayed a week or something?

I would wait. What if they redsign the 17" to be shaped like an Elephant?.... Best to make sure the design will fit!
