Hey. I had a problem and via directions on a forum I changed something in a plist.
Now all is fine but I am always weary about change something in plists. So can you damage anything in the way os x runs by changing in plist or a they safe to delete and or change?

I saw somewhere somebody said that everytime you launch an app again a new default plist is written. Is this true? :)

Probably it's better to delete a plist than trying to alter it. As you were told, after deleting the file, a new one is generated by the application when it next opens.

If you are concerned about initially deleting the file, you can always move it onto the desktop and then delete it after everything is running ok. In the unlikely event of something untoward, you can always move the original file back to its original position.
