Safe to delete iPhoto?

Good afternoon,

I noticed I have both iPhoto and Photos installed in Yosemite. Is it safe to delete iPhoto given it was replaced by Photos?

Sure... as long as you are sure you won't need it any longer to access the old iPhoto library.
