Hi,

I'm on an Early 2011 MacBook Pro and I was wondering if it would be safe to delete the contents of /var/logs. Whenever I run Onyx, it never deletes these logs so I was a little suspicious. I also noticed a lot of com.apple.launchd.peruser.(number) and most of them are locked. Can I delete these?

Thanks,
Adam

You could, but they'll come back. I wouldn't worry about them, they're of no concern and are a normal part of running a UNIX system.

Ok, thanks! Yes, I do realize that these kinds of files are normal on Unix systems and are not needed to be messed with and do not need maintenance, but can I still delete them and is it safe?
