I use QuickRes all the time to run 2560x1600 (anything higher is pretty much unusable) on my 2014 rMBP. I was wondering if it's ok to run at this resolution constantly?

It seems to work perfectly fine especially with heavier applications.

Of course it is fine to run scaled they always run scaled in some way or another native resolution is tiny.

Awesome. It's so cool to run at this resolution when needed - thankfully im still young and my vision isnt too bad.

I run my 13" rMBP at the native 2560x1600 (no HiDPI) all the time. I also run 3840x2160 on 23.8" without HiDPI - I love having lots of screen estate.

Whoa 13" is tiny. On the 15" the real estate is nice tho. Imagine if it was 17" running at 3840x2160. That would be like a full size desktop in a laptop.
