Safe To Use MBP Early 08' Charger With Mid 2010 MBP? (Both Are 15 Inch's)

So My New MBP Charger Stopped Working And I Decided To Try And Use My 08' MBP Charger And It Works Perfectly With My Mid 10' MBP So I Was Wondering If It's Safe To Use It With My New MBP?

The chargers are backwards and forwards-compatible so there's no issue with doing so. Apple will fix your charger for you if it's not broken as a result of negligence.
