I've been using the "Magic" Fusiondrive on my late 2009 iMac i7 8Gb (samsung830 256Gb SSD+2TB HDD) about a week now. I'm very pleased with the upgrade and my iMac suddenly feels fast and responsive. All in all like getting a new computer :). I suspect the corestorage "fusion" algorithme needs some time to adopt your habits etc. as the the iMac has become faster the last days. I installed a fresh system on the fusiondrive and migrated from my "old" superduper clone (also 10.8.2), and now it's time to make my first superduper backup. Would it be safe to make a smartupdate or should I use copy all or wait for an superduper update that supports fusion drive?
Don't want to gamble with my data.
thx
