Safri and firefox DO NOT display pictures in the BROWSER some times is this bug with OS-X?

I have notice when using Safri or firefox when surfing the internet it some times does not display pictures in the browser but downloads it in the download folder!!!

Well this is on the older and newer OS-X version and newer and older Safri and firefox version too.

I wonder if some pictures the browser cannot display it an have to download it.

Very vague. You'd be better served if you provided version numbers.

Can you provide an example link? Web developers can set the "content disposition" to "download" to tell the browser to download instead of display, but I can't say whether that's what's happening in this case.
