I've seen a few posts where people say that their Saitek Eclipse keyboard works flawlessly with their Mac. I am currently using an Eclipse II and can tell you that the media keys (volume control and track control) do not work properly.

I assume then that what these people are referring to is an Eclipse I not Eclipse II. Is that right? And if so, is the I still available for purchase anywhere?

I love this keyboard, but I really need to have those buttons functioning. Thanks in advance. :)

The Saitek Eclipse I doesn't have those media buttons (aside from a couple volume buttons) so don't waste your time buying one. I, however, don't care about the media functions, I just like the keyboard (I have one).

Thanks for the response. Perhaps I can live with just volume control, and deal with track control in another way. So just to clarify: the volume control does indeed work with the Saitek Eclipse I keyboard on an Intel iMac running OS X Tiger, correct? And where is the I still available for purchase, if anyone knows?

If you can't tell, I too am in love with the keyboard ... I just want the buttons to work! :D
