Anyone have an idea how strong are the sales for the iPhone in India? Are people buying it?

Whos bought the iPhone from vodafone? vodafone seems to be charging high for their data plans, like Rs.500 for 250MB. While airtel is giving 500MB free per month for 12 months!!

I heard the iPhone 3G is being sold cheaper in the grey market. is it true? n at wat cost?
