In a coffee shop.
Just saw with genuine sorrow that Sam Shepard - a genuinely gifted artist, actor, writer and playwright - subtle, classy, and deeply, profoundly articulate and intelligent - has died aged 73.

This is an artist whose work I greatly admired, both as a writer and actor.

RIP Mr Shepard.

Liked him "Blackhawk Down" and a few others, which I am drawing a blank on remembering him from.

Update: Mr. Yeager from "The Right Stuff"..........

RIP Mr. Shepard.

He was an excellent actor, first rate screen writer, and outstanding playwright.

A seriously intelligent, thoughtful, and gifted artist who could craft words, scenes, and narratives without difficulty.

Actually, to my mind, "The Right Stuff" is an excellent movie.

I had to IMDB which movie I first remember seeing him in and yup that was the one! I agree, it is an excellent movie.
