Samba mounted drive gets disconected automatically

I have mac OS x (iMAC).
The Samba mount drive gets disconnected after some time automatically.
When I try to mount another mac system directory or Linux system directory using the Samba mount with guest as the user then the mount point gets disconnected after some time automatically.
Is there any option to keep this mount alive or make this mount point permanent.
