We have a unique situation with our One Drive usage. We have a very simple setup with one computer in the Office that has the actual files on that computer that are being shared over One Drive to essentially one other remote computer.
All version of One Drive and Office 365 for the Mac are updated to the latest of everything.
The remote user will got to Office online and go to the files shared to her. If she opens the file in the browser app she get one file. If she opens the exact same file in the desktop app, she gets a file that does not appear to have been updated to the dating of items inside that file. If we go to the computer that originates these files and do the exact same thing- no problem. If I go to another computer in the office (this one is a windows machine) it work fine.
The person is NOT running the One Drive app on her Mac computer. Is this the problem that it needs to be running under the name of the One Drive account where the files originate from on the computer that is trying to access the files from One drive?
Thanks
