Why have they not built this in to any version of OS X? Boggles the mind!
I have a 13'' MBP that I take to work/on the road.
At home, I hook it in to a 27'' cinema display.
I wish Dashboard was smart enough to recognize/remember what size screen I'm on, then adjust or even add/subtrack widgets on that basis. As it stands now, I squeeze all my widgets into a 13'' section of the 27'' screen, so the widgets won't look funky/cut off when I'm out and about. Of course, when I'm plugged in at home, all I see is wasted potential an unused screen space.
Does anyone know that I'm talking about? Or perhaps knows of a 3rd-party add on that will give me this functionality?
