Same text gets sent multiple times. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey guys,

Since iOS 5, I've had an issue with Android users getting my text message multiple times. It doesn't happen every text, but it's a constant issue. Does anyone else experience this? Both users were on Verizon (I have an iPhone 4).

More recently my mom, who's also on Verizon, receives multiple texts from my sister's iPhone 5. My sister just upgraded from a Blackberry > iPhone 5. This is the first time my mom has noticed the issue. My sister's iPhone 5 is on Sprint.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

I think this could be a Verizon issue as even with the Android OS, it is doing the same thing on Verizon. Seen it many times with my Droid X and Galaxy Nexus. Was really hoping when my iPhone 5 arrives I would not have to owrry about this.

Was one person using an iPhone? Or were both phones non-iPhone.

Both non-iphone... which is why I am thinking a verizion problem
