Sam's Club today announced its "Lowest Prices of the Season" event, starting in retail locations around the country at 7 A.M. on Saturday, November 14. The company promises that the event will feature deals on "the most sought-after tech, toys and home décor for the holiday season," which includes the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPad Air 2.

"We're excited to kick off holiday shopping for our members with our lowest prices of the season event on Saturday, Nov. 14. Our shoppers can feel confident they are getting a great deal on many top gifts, and early enough to plan the rest of their holiday budget," said Rosalind Brewer, president and CEO of Sam's Club.

"In addition to several savings events, every week, Sam's Club is rotating new items onto its shelves to help shoppers surprise and delight everyone on their lists. This year we are confident we're giving our members new ways to save and discover the value of being a member."
Users who opt-in for Apple's iPhone 6s or 6s Plus during the event will get a $200 Sam's Club gift card when activating the phone on any Verizon, Sprint, or AT&T installment plan. The event will also allow customers the option of 2-year plans for Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular users starting at $99 (16GB for 6s) and $199 (16GB for 6s Plus), but they won't be eligible for the $200 gift card.

The iPad Air 2 is going on sale as well, with the 64GB and 128GB (available online only) versions marked as $150 off during the event. Sam's Club is also offering users a slight discount on a packaging of four $25 iTunes gift cards, normally retailing for $100 and going for $79.47 during the event.

Customers who choose to shop exclusively online can get a head start on the Sam's Club sales on November 14, with all the discount prices opening up to users at 12:01 on Saturday morning and most items shipping free in the United States. The retailer also has a few deals on 4K Smart TVs, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note5, and various other jewelry and kids' toys.

In addition to the Lowest Prices of the Season event, Sam's Club will host a Pre-Black Friday Event on Saturday, November 21 through Wednesday, November 25, focusing on savings on "top brands and Thanksgiving meal essentials." While it didn't provide specific sale details just yet, the company noted that Black Friday deals will begin online at 12:01 AM on Thanksgiving Day and start in retail locations Friday, November 27 at 7 AM. Cyber Week specials will follow on Monday, November 30 through December 6.

So basically, assuming you're a Sam's Club member, it's $200 of the installment plan with a carrier -or- $100 off if you're doing a subsidized two-year contract. Not bad. Just summing it up for everyone.

These really aren't atypical sales for this time of year - Wal-Mart/Sam's is just trying to get a little bit of a jump on Best Buy and Target, who normally have the best BF deals. This beats the normal $100 gift card Target does each BF. Unfortunately the Air 2 is not new this year.

They probably meant 20% is a pretty common discount. 25%/30% is what's rare and hopefully we'll see it this Black Friday.
Thanks, was wondering if I'd spoken a little too soon there. I've never shopped for those in any kind of bulk before.

For what it's worth, I got up early for this sale last year at my local Sam's Club to get a few items on the list. I got there 10-15 minutes before they opened and there was literally zero line to get in, and they'd already let some people in anyway. It was very anticlimactic.

Any way to get a trial (free) membership at Sam's club?

$25 for a membership and a free chicken, or $45 and a free $20 gift card

Starting to keep my eyes peeled for the best Air 2 deal, so I can upgrade my mom's iPad 2 for her birthday

This beats the best I have seen. I had Best Buy price match Staples yesterday on a 64 GB Air 2 for $479. They also have the 128 GB for $559 ($140 off) this week.

Going to hold on to my BB one (it's a christmas gift, so still sealed) and if I get this deal at Sam's (already a member) then I will return to Best Buy. BB won't match one day sales, which this seems to be.

Hopefully this means a new 9.7" iPad is around the corner, if they're discounting the current one now. All I want is an A9 proc and Pencil compatibility. Basically an iPad Pro Mini. :D

Staples put this sale on a couple months ago and they had an almost as good sale just now ($130 off, not $150). I got it from Staples during the $150 off. Anyway I understand the iPad Air 2 doesn't have Force Touch but at that price the 64GB is a good deal (mind you I didn't say "great") for the current flagship iPad Air.

I bought it mainly for reading and occasional games and it has been perfect. Only iOS device I own though.

I'm guessing Fall 2016 for the iPad Air 3.

This looks like a fairly typical "pre-Black Friday" teaser.

I appreciate this may be a stupid question but what does it mean "no rain checks" in the context of adverts?

Doesn't seem to be a term used here in blighty

If a store has a special and they run out of stock they will issue a "rain check" so you can take advantage of the deal when they are back in stock unless they limit it to stock on hand or no rain checks.

I guess it depends on where you live. The Sams Club I went to last year had probably 40-50 people in line by the time the door opened.

Certain Sams Clubs will have 5 people waiting at the door at opening on a regular day out the year, no sale, no nothing, just a regular day lol.

What sort deals should be expected from AT&T for unlimited data customers (non-Next)?

iPhone 6s Plus 128GB is normally $499 with 2-year contract extension....will it be sold for $399 or less?

I expect it's coming, but I wouldn't put money on it being "around the corner". The iPad Pro is not even out yet. As the other poster said, probably fall of 2016.
