Samson CO3U and Podcasts

Hi there,

I have bought a Samson CO3U microphone to record a podcast with but whatever settings I pick on the microphone and in Garageband the audio sounds awful. When I was "playing" with it the other day it seemed to work fine, but now there is a lot of hiss i the background or if I change the setting practically no sound at all.

Any advice ?
