Samsung 1 TB VS Western Digital 1 TB?

I am looking to get a 1 TB HD for my i5 MBP. There aren't many options, I know, but I am looking for some info on both of them from actual users.

Here are the 2 I am looking at:

What are your recommendation between the two?

I think they are too new for people to have tried both. I have the WD and there aren't any issues.
For $10 more I'd take the 4 star average from 43 people vs 3 star from 1 person though..

The Samsung drive is brand new. We'll need to wait a little longer to see how it compares to the WD drive. The WD drive though is a safe bet and any improvement (if there actually is any) with the Samsung is likely going to be only very marginal.

I can only comment on the WD 1TB drive, which I have in my 13" MBP... it's quiet and reliable, with no problems at all.

Nowadays there are 3 1tb 2.5" HDDs AFAIK:

1) WD WD10TPVT (for a year now)
2) Samsung MT2 HM100UI (recent)
3) Toshiba MK1059GSM (recent)

Experiences are welcome.
