This information was taken directly from the Samsung website. Does the last sentence ("...HDTV ready...") mean that this monitor can be used as a TV? Also, can I connect a 12" 1.2Ghz iBook to this monitor? Thank you for your help.

SyncMasterTM 205BW-Black (20" inch Wide monitor)

The Samsung SyncMaster 205BW is a 20-inch Wide TFT-LCD delivering a 600:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 160 degree viewing angle and scanning frequency of 30-81kHz horizontal and 56-75Hz vertical. It is also HDTV Ready with DVI input with HDCP support.

HDTV ready means there isn't a built in tuner. But it's capable of accepting the digial signal from an outside source. Like a cable box, or your computer.
