Samsung 2010 Printer Problems

Hi I just bought a samsung ml2010 laser printer for my mother and she has has old imac, the ones that came in 6 different colors. yellow orange, turquoise etc--so it's a pretty old machine--I think about 5 years old.

She hooked up the printer and it wouldn't work

Does anyone out there know of samsung drivers that would work with this older machine, or should I just send the printer back andlook for something else?
