Samsung 2343bwx with new Mac Pro?

looking to get a monitor for the time being until apple releases a new 30" and saw this one. If I get a 30" I'll use it as a second monitor on the mac pro or a 2008 ultimate iMac. Anyone used this on a Mac Pro? Is the resolution (2048x1152) supported by either or both desktop?

I used it on both a Mid 2007 MacBook Pro and a Late 2008 MacBook Pro with no issues running at the native resolution.

I'm also waiting for the updated 30" ACD. Hopefully this summer at WWDC Apple will have some good news for us.

I told you it worked. If it worked on the MacBook Pros, it will defiantly work on a Mac Pro.

I read a review with a guy having a problem with His mac pro not reading that rez right. So thats why I asked if anyone here had used it with a new mac pro. I'd rather ask and be sure as I thought about buying 2 of them.

2343bwx works

I have a new Mac pro and the 2343 bwx works just fine if I use the DVI connector on the video card. It auto-magically came up at 2048x1152 @60hz.

I guess I might have a bad mini-2-std DVI dongle because not I can't get my 2443 bwx to work! Anyone experienced this?

Turns out that the mini-dv to DVI converter was bad.

I got a replacement mini-DVI converter and both the 2343 bwx and the 2443 bwx are working Great!
