Hey ShawnF,

I like the larger 32" size and the reviews are mostly positive. What are your applications, and what computer is it for?

I plan to use it mostly for image and video editing. I use Lightroom and Final Cut Pro X for work primarily.

I would carefully read the reviews on this monitor at all the major online vendor sites. A brief review of the Amazon reviews sure did make me think that I would not personally buy this monitor.

I just bought the Samsung 34 in display and returning the LG. The Samsung is a better monitor..

He's discussing the 32" here, not the 34" This particular 32" Samsung has some very bad reviews. Has some good ones too, but the bad ones talk about flickering and poor construction and cheap components. Personally, reviews on this 32" Samsung would scare me to death as a potential buyer.

Which Samsung do you have?

Which Samsung do you have, what do you like about it, and what Mac, input, cable, and resolution are you using. Wow that's a lot of questions.

Samsung S34E790C 34 inch curved display, yes I really like it

Thanks oldhifi

Thanks oldhifi - really appreciate the information. It's a unique and attractive monitor, and I didn't know it had speakers - which is a big plus for me. One more thing...

How would you rate the quality of the text for you?

Thanks again!

Thanks again oldhifi - it's about 33% more than I was planning to spend, but could be worth stretching the budget for.
