Samsung 37" 4k External Monitor - connect by HDMI or USB C ?

Hello everyone and happy holiday. There are black friday deals right now for Samsung 37" 4k monitors. The S70D has an HDMI connection and the S80 OUD has USBC. Otherwise they appear to be the similar spec monitors. There is about a $75 price difference.

Is there any reason to expect image quality will be different with my MBA 15" m3? I just do basic office stuff. I plan to run it at scaled 3008x1692.

I have a 27" Dell 4K and use USB-C and works great, also charges my MBP 14" M4.

I have no doubt the USB C output is great. I will probably just buy the HDMI version of the monitor. I might plug it into a video game machine that is HDMI only. This will save me the $20 from buying a conversion cable. Thanks for the input.

Just updating in case it helps anyone else. I plugged in the monitor today and it works great! The VA panel has some slight viewing angle color shift when seated center, but it is barely noticeable. For my work with basic office applications this is completely acceptable. I am running at the scaled resolution. Text, etc still looks smooth and very good. I really appreciate the extra columns in excel and more space with side by side applications.
