Just did a quick test on mine. I have a 2011 Base Model MBP. The only thing I've done to it is add a Samsung 470 SSD. My average boot time is 16.5 seconds from pressing the power button to reaching the home screen. If I do the test after bong sound I average about 12.5 seconds. Just wondering what other Samsung 470 SSD owners are getting. Also, I would like to point out I have the 128GB version.

If anyone knows how to embed my YouTube video please feel free to help me out. Thanks

My boot time is quite similar to yours.

I just love when the Apple logo disappears and my desktop comes right up and ready to go
