Samsung 830 or Vertex 4?!

Looking to pick up my first SSD. Both are 128gb drives, and priced the same. I've head good things about both drives. I know the Vertex is FAST. Which would be best for my 2012 cMBP?

The Vertex is "fast" - in sequential read/write. The Samsung 830 offers more consistent and fast performance in random read/write, which is what affects everyday usage, like opening programs and files. Sequential is noticed when loading giant, 1GB+ files, like loading a map in Battlefield 3. Besides, the Samsung has a better warranty.

Make sure you pick up TRIM Enabler.

You cant tell the difference between them in speed - so go with the Samsung 830.

The Samsung is a far better drive. OCZ makes mediocre products and Samsung is the best of the best.

Apple uses Samsung drives as well, if that makes a difference.
