Samsung 957MB monitor in OS X

Well here's the deal. I got a MacBook (2.0/1GB) connected to my Samsung SyncMaster 957MB monitor. OS X can only choose 60Hz in 1600x1200 while in bootcamp it can choose 1600x1200 @ 75Hz.

And I know for a fact by the specifications that it can handle 1600x1200 @ 75Hz so why doesn't it work in OS X?
