Samsung A740, will it work with a mac?

I am wondering if my Samsung A740 (bell) will work with Tiger, if i bought a usb cable like this
Anyone have any idea, if so what could i do? load pictures to and fro it, or sync contacts etc.

I would love to be able to load some pictures on it for desktop backgrounds, maybe even ring-tones. Any ideas?
