Coming from samsung themselves, Albiet their korean division.
I think this is promising. I thought for sure the S2 would be forgotten and left on 4.0 the rest of its life. But its getting the 4.1 Jelly bean update which the phone is more than capable of running. It's not unusual for samsung to drop devices after only 1 or sometimes 0 OS upgrades. The fact that Samsung is updating a year and a half old+ flagship phone is very promising. Could this mean the GS3 could in fact see 5.0 or higher? Samsung is no google or apple when it comes to updating their phones but this is definitely a step in the right direction for samsung who has previously been famous for abandoning devices after a short period of time.
