I hope those with them enjoy them but I can't for the life of me understand how anyone can call a monitor over 32 inches a computer monitor. How do you sit at a desk in front of a 55 inch monitor.

As for TVs, I have a S95B from Samsung and it is fantastic. Highly recommend it.

The M8 monitor looks very Apple-esque and seems like a nice alternative to the Studio Display. Just wish it was 24" - 28"...32" is huge.
I would suggest that people check out the M70. It’s just like the M80 except it doesn’t have a camera. But it’s 329 dollars this Cyber Monday.

Sorry, Samsung, but I'll never buy your TVs again.

Reason 1: AndroidTV - just no.
Reason 2: Your tasteless anti-Apple advertising in phones - you've completely turned me off your brand.

LG TVs with WebOS are 🔥

I upgraded from an LG C9 to the Samsung S95B and it was a great upgrade, and I'm a big Apple fanboy. I couldn't care less about their anti-Apple advertising. The OS on the TV isn't great but I never found WebOS great either.

Did you use WebOS with the magic remote? It's the best UX I've seen on a TV or streaming box and something I wish Apple would have done with the new Apple TV.

Yeah I actually didn't like the magic remote. Found it more annoying than helpful.

Interesting. I've really enjoyed it and the friends I know that have it also really seem to like the experience. (Not saying it's perfect tho).

Funny how our milage varies. Guess there's no one size fits all.

I’m not an apple fanboy and I know this might be hard to believe considering the forum, but after having multiple Samsung products (tvs, refrigerator, washer/dryer) fail. I now refuse to purchase Samsung electronics. My experience with them have been garbage.

I am an Apple fanboy… and their American style fridge freezers are awesome. The only TV I had was great too and still running 10 years later like new… but then I never touch any TV smart buttons and use, you guessed it, and Apple TV

My brother has a washer and dryer - also not gone wrong in 8 years.

The other thing is all their divisions are run as completely separate companies. So the admittedly awful early Samsung Mobile copying has zip all to do with whitegoods.

I am also an adult and facepalm when ever anyone says fanboy. It’s like a 12 year old playground insult. Why do people get so annoyed at other companies products? Did this start with VHS/Betamax?

A lot of these tv's have been these prices on Amazon all year round... Cyber Monday is such a sham lol.

I like Sammy TV’s. Too bad I don’t need one.
Two things that make them forgettable, the poor quality remotes they kit with economy sets, and the awkward method/operation of Tizen when dealing with two connected HDMI devices, it can’t isolate them apart when a device restarts and causes a HDMI handshake to kick you off the input you are watching. Sony, LG work great comparatively with HDMI inputs.

I also received one of their 4K TVs a few years ago that had dried liquid residue all over the screen, from a new boxed model. It looked like they didn’t bother to clean it after manufacturing. I did wipe it clean using a light and soft towels. So they are my last choice if I had to pick sets.

Probably a deeper desk and a longer distance to the screen.

I already got a great deal on a monitor during Black Friday. Target was selling refurbished Acer Nitro XV272Us for $180.

I literally laughed out loud when you used “facepalm” but are annoyed at a well known nomenclature as “fanboy”. Thank you for that 🤣 😂 😝 <— emojis cause we all love them 😉

Also, congrats on the successful Samsung products. 😊
