Are they already out in the US? In Europe no one has them until beginning of September. Good thing the price for the 1TB EVO dropped from 600 to 500 EUR in the first month since launch even though noone saw them in stock

This would be for me the only viable option to swap out my 1 TB 5400rpm in a late 2012 iMac. Authorized Apple service charges $60/hour for swapping it out, so i'm happy not to break warranty by opening it myself.

Anyone else waiting or got the 1TB EVO?

If nothing else it's good to see price edging down on such a new product. Noticed these on Amazon 2-3 days ago.
