Samsung has expanded its Black Friday sale with new discounts across smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, computers, and home appliances. This is in addition to the deals we've been tracking on Samsung's best TVs and monitors, like the Smart Monitor M8 and ViewFinity S9 5K Display.

Note: MacRumors is an affiliate partner with Samsung. When you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small payment, which helps us keep the site running.

Right now, both of these have all-time low prices on Amazon. The Smart Monitor M8 is available for $399.99 ($300 off) and the ViewFinity S9 5K Display is available for $1,265.31 ($334 off). The latter deal has been fluctuating on Amazon, so if it does disappear, Samsung has a solid second-best offer at $1,299.99 for the next few days.

Samsung is encouraging users to shop through the Shop Samsung mobile app this season, which has some exclusive deals and deep discounts on smartphones, smartwatches, and mobile accessories. Clicking any of the Samsung links in this post while on mobile should give you the option to install the app.

Other than monitors and TVs, we're also now tracking quite a few deals on refrigerators, tablets, and computers below. These sale prices will be live for this week only, so be sure to check out Samsung's event before the best prices of the year disappear.

After the way I was treated attempting warranty service on both a $1800 washing machine and a $3200 TV, Samsung can, for now and ever more, KMA.

LOL came here to say that. Samsung washing machine service was so bad I ended up using chargeback and got money back. It lasted 2 months. Bought a Bosch one in the end which has been fine for 6 years.

I have a Samsung fridge, washing machine, dryer, and stove. I would not buy a fridge from them again.

They are know to have the highest number of maintenance requests per fridge sold of all the major brands. The knew they had a faulty design for their in fridge icemaker and continued to sell models using it for years and still billed customers for repairs that didn't work for more than a few weeks. There are also complaints of issues with failures to maintain safe temperatures in the fridges. I recommend a different brand fridge. Or go into it informed anyway. I didn't do enough research before buying. Note that LG also had defective fridges (compressor failures) they ignored and tried not to recall.

I am happy with my washer and dyer. My induction stove needed repairs, under warranty, for intermittent extra loud buzzing (not the normal induction buzz). The in-home repair people were good but Samsung support was... frustrating. The stove itself is great.

I'll be the odd one out with the complaining here and say that as a tech enthusiast, I love macrumors posting about Samsung deals and occasional product announcements.

I had a really bad warranty experience with a Samsung CRT TV back in the late 90s or early 2000s. Swore off the brand in its entirety and haven't relented.

I’ve had several Samsung phones over the years that I’ve loved and have family that love their Samsung TVs, but I will never again buy a Samsung appliance.

I made the mistake of buying a Samsung dishwasher, and it was the worst $600 I’ve ever spent! Tried every single brand and format of dishwashing detergent I could find, and the POS still never cleaned half the load, or my favorite was when it redistributed soil from plates and pans into cups that were used only for drinking water. Stuff would come out dirtier than it went in!

My parents had a top load Samsung washer about 10 years back that just self destructed during the wash cycle when it was less than 2 years old resulting in having to carry wet laundry in Rubbermaid totes to be rung out in the bathtub and having to empty the drum with a shop vac.

TL, DR: Samsung electronics= fine
Samsung appliances= stay FAR away

Decided to order the Viewfinity S9 since now I can have it 500$ cheaper than the Studio Display basic. The Studio Display is far superior in some aspects like audio but I ultimately need mainly a monitor and the extra features are not so important to me. The included adjustable stand is also nice to have.

Might have chosen differently with a good discount from Apple though...

I vouch for Samsung TVs, smartphones, smartwatches, and Galaxy Buds.

STAY AWAY from Samsung monitors and refrigerators.

Samsung appliances are never to be trusted, or purchased. Unless you enjoy the RMA and warranty process, or enjoy repeatedly working on patently defective products.
Totally opposite experience for me. Everything at home from fridge, TV, oven, washing machine, stove is Samsung. I think it’s just the air conditioning that isn’t. Everything has been super reliable and the only issue we’ve had was with an oven which was 9 years old used daily so it was way past its warranty. 20 year old Samsung microwave just works. Never knew home stuff breaking is something people face that commonly. But everything at home is from around 2013 so maybe quality has gone downhill since.

I would never buy anything from Samsung again after a bad sale experience. I bought one of their top of the range TV's a few years ago which came with a £300 credit. The way the credit worked was you had to buy £300 worth of Samsung product within a six month period and submit it for a credit. I did this same day as I bought the TV and duly submitted it. It took six months for them to respond and it was a rejection claiming that the products I bought did not qualify. This is even though they were purchased same day in a Samsung store and I checked with the store that the products would qualify. Fortunately the TV has been great but the experience has left me with a negative view.
I notice their sales often include some sort of future credit.

I have had my Samsung 65” TV for 7 1/2 years. It was admittedly at the time one the highest end models they made, and it has been a fantastic TV. Still going strong.

With that said, my parents have had horrible luck with both Samsung and LG appliances. Give me the old school, non-smart, non-LED washer and dryer. Like an old Maytag. I would not buy Samsung or LG appliances after their experiences with both brands.

An update: I got the Viewfinity S9 and will probably return it due to the matte finish. I knew it had a matte finish but I underestimated how significant it is.

The screen otherwise worked pretty well out of the box, so if the finish is not a problem for you it's a good monitor.
