Excellent if you want to zoom. Compared to the 808 if you don't need zoom and the lighting is good, meaning no OIS is needed? No way... the 808 will have much-much better IQ.

Much better than last year, I actually saw only 1 galaxy zoom in the wild and didn't hag the chance to get a closer look.

I would love manufactures start using xenon flash again, Sony Ericsson style

A much better attempt from Samsung this year, shame the screen is only 720p.

I have less of an issue with the display being 720p but see real problems with only 8GB of internal memory storage. With TouchWiz installed, what does that leave the user, about 1-2 GB? That's completely ridiculous.

Of course you are completely ignoring the fact that it has a micro SD Slot for memory expansion.

Wasn't concerned with where to store the photos it takes, but rather how it'll be able to actually run any apps. It is, in fact, a phone as well. ;)

Again I ask a question. What makes you think you cannot install and run apps from the memory card?

if only Apple would provide for SD cards so that we can expand our devices without paying the $100 premium per 16 Gig.

Agreed. Releasing a 8GB phone in 2014 is ridiculous.
I don't see the logic either......only 8GB...then TW being as heavy on resources as it is.....does not make sense. You can add the SD card to store photos and some apps but not all apps can go to the SD card. So soon you are left with a nice camera/phone that is out of space.....

Where few apps can be installed.

Because not all apps will move to SD card. And many people do have apps that can easily take over 1.6 GB or more.

Why are you defending samsung for their stupid move? Putting a 16 GB NAND in the phone is not that much expensive nowadays.
