Hello

I have recently replaced my Macbook hard drive with a Samsung 5400RPM 8Mb 320Gb HD, I'm just wondering if my HD is having any problems, it seems to make some rather loud clicking noises when putting the HD into stand-by mode.
Im not sure if this is because it is broken or if it just is a loud type of HD.

Thanks

Will the clicking noise happen more often when you use the battery alone instead of the power supply?

If yes, it means the power supply is not enough for the harddisk. Same problem happened to my IBM notebook.

then the screen and the main body of my laptop broke.
now the main screen and the body are seperated.
