Samsung HM1000 not working with Skype.

Hey guys --

I just got a Samsung HM1000 for my Macbook. I have it connected, and I can play music or other audio into it with no problems (tested with iTunes and Rhapsody).

However, when I use it with Skype, the audio chops out for maybe 1/4 second every second or so. If I use the laptop speakers or headphones (into the headphone jack), Skype's audio is perfect.

It's bad enough that I can't really use it for Skype at all. Is there any reason it would work for other programs just fine but not Skype?
