Samsung has launched its internet browser for PC and it amazing. Install Ublock origins for ad block and this thing plays YouTube 4K 60fps HDR without hesitation and 0 dropped frames, or at least visible dropped frames. When using Edge, Chrome, I have issues playing 4k 60fps HDR videos. They load slow because of the adblock extension, and I also get very visible dropped frames throughout the whole video. When I use Firefox, on top of the slow loading videos with dropped frames, there's no HDR and the YouTube videos look soft and slightly washed out. With Samsung Internet, when you pull up stats for nerds, you may see 0 to 10 dropped frames at the very beginning, but they're not visible. This is only if you're using an adblocker or VPN or both. Websites with embedded videos also pull up faster. Popup blocking is a lot more effective as well. I'll still keep Chrome and Edge (4K) just for Netflix, in case I need to use the browser instead of the app. For everyday use, I'm going all in on Samsung’s browser synced to my phone and Tab. It's about time Samsung made this available for PC. Still in Beta, so I hope they add 4K HDR Netflix support.
