Hi. I'm trying to print to a Samsung M2026W laser printer via AirPrint. The printer prints fine from an iPad Pro (latest iOS 14) and a 2012 MBA running Catalina. When printing from my Mac Pro 5,1 on Catalina (10.15.7 with all updates), AirPrint only works intermittently.

The printer is always seen in System Preferences and application printer dialogues just fine. The print queue shows the progress of the job as if it is processing then printing. The printer will usually make a single quiet click (a relay?) as if about to spin up, but then nothing happens. Different apps have different luck printing. Safari seems to be fine, but it's generally not printing from Word or Mail. Any suggestions? I've reset the printing system a bunch of times in the course of trying things, but it hasn't helped.

Just as a followup, fixed this by using its IP address in Add Printer, rather than relying on AirPrint. Now it prints every time. Didn't change any other setting - just let macOS pick the relevant protocols.

The Mac Pro is connected to the network by both Ethernet and Wifi (I've tried with each disabled). Maybe this confuses Bonjour? It's always printed fine via AirPrint from an iPad, iPhone and MBA, all on wifi. When trying to print from the MP via AirPrint, it only works occasionally.
