I've got a couple of weird problems, some that have been fixed with Mojave and the other, the main one I'm writing about, may not be Mojave. I have two MacPros 5,1.

I have this gaming monitor. https://www.samsung.com/us/computin...m-dot-certified-refurbished-lc32hg70qqnxza-r/

I think I must have something set up wrong, but it sometimes doesn't boot. I go between MacPros with a switcher. The MacPro 2 (High Sierra) it has no problem instantly coming up. When I switch back to MacPro 1 (Mojave) it's very slow, sometimes just doesn't come on without a lot of noodling and encouraging. Sometimes I have to switch back to the MacPro 2, back and forth and move/click the mouse and type on the keyboard it will eventually come back.

Possibly Samsung has issued a new driver. I haven't found it yet.

Also when I boot from other drives on the same Mac that are earlier than Mojave, Sierra and High Sierra, no problem at all.

Also I used to have problems with external drives that cominually went offline. This no longer happens on Mojave, but when I boot into my Sierra drive problem returns. Since the Mojave drive is my main one this isn't a massive problem now. Mainly this is an oberservation.

But I'd like to fix the monitor display problem. It's a massive pain.
