Hi

I have connected up my nice new shiny Samsung XL2370 monitor and have a question.

All is OK, but I have a resolution query.

I have my Mac Pro set on its highest resolution and it is all as I say fine.

Now, I use the CD cover screen saver option and on the Samsung it does not fill the whole screen, there is about and inch or so wide black band on the either side of the screen saver picture.

On my 24inch Apple LED dispaly the screen saver fills the whole screen.

Nothing real bad but just want to know why this is when the Samsung is a Smaller monitor.

This is due to the aspect ratios. 24" is 16:10 and 23" is 16:9
