I have a Samsung ML-1430 MonoChrome Laserjet and found a way to make it work.

All the forums say it will not, that Samsung dropped driver support. True Samsung did, but there is a Open Source solution that works perfectly.

Download the Ghostscript, Foomatic and Samsung GDI

You have to installl Ghost sciptt first before the foomatic for foomatic to install. Otherwise you go in to your Samsung printer and after installing all three programs your driver for your printer will be in the driver list. Select it and it works perfectly. It is an opensource solution and all the functions of my ML-1430 do not work like print saving, but I do not need to go buy a new printer either. Prints perfectly.

I just wanted to post this as it sure would have saved me a lot of tie searching.

If I can help anyone let me know.
