I was just wondering if anyone could help me. My printer is having wifi issues and I’m struggling to solve it. All of the mac software seems to have expired and I can’t find any way to configure it.
So a few years ago I bought a Samsung C4300 laser printer, which is really good. However it seems Samsung closed their printing department and sold it to HP.
HP’s support is minimal, with few updates and doing the bare minimum. The mobile app seems to lose features with every update. The Mac apps are no longer available to download and the ones I have either wouldn’t run on the latest version of Mac OS, or would crash a moment after launching.
The past few times I tried to airprint it has been patchy, I’ve needed to switch the printer off and on before it would print. Last night I tried to print and it just couldn’t find the printer.
I’ve been resetting the router, the printer, uninstalling the printer, reinstalling the drivers.
I can print via USB, but can’t do anything wirelessly (although the mobile app seems to be able to see the printer and detected when I renamed it).
Is there anything I can do, or any sort of config menu I can access.
