Just saw this...

Samsung recently unveiled a dual-monitor, which consists of two LCD displays. The larger, 22-inch screen serves as a main display, while the smaller 7-inch screen displays secondary applications that are usually used in the background, such as instant-messaging services or Windows widgets. .. what do you Guy's think..?:)

Looks pretty sweet. Could be nice in a business setting. In real time analytics.

If the second screen was the same height as the main, then maybe, but not like that.

it looks a bit lame.

Tbh my favourite screen set up is a dual monitor one with one portrait and one landscape but both the same height, I find if my monitors are the same size I only tend to use one but a portrait side screen tends to be used.

I think it's quite a good idea actually, not everyone has room for or necessarily wants 2 full screens, but the benefit of having at least a small 2nd space for your iTunes to sit, or messengers is great to have.

it'd be better if you could unmount the 2nd screen and move it under the monitor or something. I can see the use of having itunes running in that window or something so you have all your songs right there. If you have macbook you can do the same thing too though, just keep the itunes open on one screen and work on the other.

I agree, as I do exactly this with my MacBook and 22" LCD. I have my main applications on the 22" and things like iTunes and MSN on the 13" MacBook Screen. It is very efficient.
