The tablet is expected to be a member of the Note family, and was allegedly seen in a leaked picture a few days back. The Bluetooth filing doesn’t really confirm anything apart from the fact that the device will support Bluetooth 4.0, but we should see specs similar to the new Note 10.1, including the 2560×1600-pixel screen, octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, and improved S Pen. We’re sure more details will be revealed in the coming days, so hang tight all ye’ purveyors of inconvenient tablet screen sizes.
 
Any interest?

Tempted to hold on for this instead of buying the new note 10.1
 
It looks like Samsung are bringing this out when apple bring out the new ipad 5.
 
This looks very enticing, especially for a student in college who wants something to take notes and to use ebook on.

Unfortunately, it will probably be quite a bit more expensive. :mad:

If they use their usual polycarbonate, it may not be all that heavy. I would really like to try one. We'll see...
 
I would really love for samsung to come out with a decent keyboard dock. one like the asus transformer prime. It would be nice to have something with a trackpad. That with combination with the S-Pen would be killer.

Hope they make one for the 10.1 as well.
 
I like the larger size... A lot.

Too bad Apples turned into you're average slow moving conservative corporation. Bent on playing it safe, they're so fat & happy they're no longer willing to try new things.
 
12.2 is a bit much for me. I'm more pulled into the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition Wi-Fi model. I own the Galaxy Note II and i absolutely love it, but as a college student, i can't really use my phone to take notes in class. With the Galaxy Note 10.1 and coming with 90% of all the features found in the Note III and Android 4.3, I'm defiantly buying this. I neglected the S-Pen back when I was an iPhone user. I though it was a gimmick, pointless. who wants a pen when they can touch the screen. I was 100% wrong. The S-Pen is the best. I haven't touched my screen since i bought it, other then the touch buttons next to the home button.
 
what are the chances this 12.2 details will come out after the new ipad release?
 
if the 10.1 is already $550, this 12.2 will probably be pushing $650-700. I image a wacom digitizer that size would cost a pretty penny...would be nice to lounge around and browse with a 12" screen tho...

The 12.2 was already rumored long ago. Stop with this "before" and "after" Apple releases fanboy talk. I guess nobody can release anything before and after any Apple devices, well, anybody but Samsung can do so.

You clearly are not familiar with The Game 161 as he is anything but a fanboy of any description.

And furthermore, it is not unreasonable to suggest they plan to announce new tablets at the same time or just after the Apple iPad announcements, as that is EXACTLY what companies do when choosing best time to announce their competing product. That's just a marketing FACT and has nothing to do with being a fanboy or any other such nonsense.

Really people throwing out fanboy at any given stage when someone makes a reasonable assumption or question - without any clear malice or miss-content in mind - is getting so feckin tiresome on this forum - it borders on insanity.

At least have a basic understanding of the users post history before you go around throwing names - otherwise you end up just making a giant bottom of yourself.

Sorry for suggesting he's a fanboy but many fanboys resort to the before and after of Apple releases as copycats if anybody else releases products at the same time. That is the point I was trying to make.

Samsung released a gold S4 to the Middle East and a lot of Apple fans cried out copycat when Samsung has released gold phones before and they did with the Galaxy Golden in the summer.

I realise there are indeed fanboys on here, but sometimes one must temper the 'assumption' that anyone making a point regarding apple / samsung / iOS / android is automatically a fanboy - when indeed they could 'just be making a valid point'... :)

Wasn't sure what made my comment fan boy like..

Different companies do release at similar times or when others think they will.

Maybe I'm samsung mad now.. But still give credit to other companies too when they bring out good products. I expect great things from the new iPad too
 
I will buy this or one from Apple if they decide to make one.
Not sure if I'm alone in this - but I feel that magazines would be perfect with that size tablet ...
