Hello.

I'm new to this forums, seems big and great. Nice place.

On to my problem.

A couple of weeks ago I bought an external monitor for my MBP 13" 2012. And since then I've struggled with getting the picture correct. I'm getting there, but at the same time, I don't think I'm close at all.

At first, I coulnd't see the time-stamps on the official Twitter-client. I coulnd't see if it was a retweet or not. I've done some changes and that is clear now. The problem I have now, I think, is. I have the contrast on the monitor set to 18. Where 100 is max. Brightness is set to 57. Max is 100. And sharpness is set to 68. Max 100.

What I'm thinking about is the contrast. Should it be that low?. Or do you have any other tips on how to get the picture perfect?

The Samsung S24B370 specs.

Model : S24B370
Brand : Samsung
Size: 24 inch
Contrast Ratio: 1000:1
Max. Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Brightness: 250 cd/m2

Hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.
