I am thinking about buying this camera. It would be $379.94 (with free shipping) ($220 off marked price). Question is, does this look like a good deal? Will it work with iMovie even though it is not listed in the compatibility list? What about final cut express?

Anyone have any experience with this camera or a recommendation for another in this price range? THANKS!

looks pretty nice to me, then again last camcorder we got was one that took regular tapes and weighed in over 10 lbs
